Entrepreneurial Finance: A Review of the Domain

Get PDF
Entrepreneurial finance is the study of value and resource allocation, applied to new ventures. This could be done in several ways, and each way includes several points to be taken into account. This paper tries to scrutinize the existing techniques and to investigate entrepreneurial financial planning. Finally, the paper concludes with some concluding remarks to extend the domain. In addition to achieving sustainable development of agricultural mechanization, it has causing problems on occupational health and safety for people working in different fields of agriculture. Noise is considered as one of the most debilitating conditions in farming and a comprehensive investigation of this relationship is required. In this study, some factors affecting the noise generated by a Goldoni garden tractor were evaluated. Research factors were including engine speed, gear ratios and type of operation. Accordingly, factorial experiments in completely randomized design with three replicates were performed. According to variance analysis with LAeq, PA and UBA, operation type, gear ratio and engine speed were found to be significant (P< 0.01). The results of this study indicate that PA and UBA correlated strongly with LAeq analysis (R2=0.97). The results also show that LAeq, PA and UBA for rural road are higher than tillage condition. Also, results indicated that the highest mean of LAeq, PA and UBA were 77.76 dBA, 9.83 and 21.16, respectively and occurred in the case of rural road and 2100 rpm engine speed

Optimal electricity supply system under Iranian framework limitations to meet its emission pledge under the Paris climate agreement

As part of its Paris Agreement commitment, Iran pledged to decrease 4 percent of its carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from 2020 to 2030. About 29% of total emission in Iran belongs to electricity supply while energy consumption in other sectors (transport, household, and industry) have a lower share in CO2 emission. The main concern here is finding the optimal mix of power plants in the electricity supply system that should be deployed to meet Iran’s mentioned respective targets. So, we developed a non-linear mathematical programming model for Iran’s electricity system to address this concern. Results show that a 10-20% diffusion of renewable energy and converting gas turbine power plants to gas combined cycle technology with 5% annual rate can satisfy Iran’s emissions pledge under the Paris Climate Accord. Finally, this model has been run for years between 2017-2030. Four scenarios have also been prepared based on different Iranian Five-Year Development Plans

oai:ojs.www.scientificia.com:article/9Purpose- Relatively few organizations have implemented an integrated approach, which addresses all the key strategic elements of CRM. Even in more developed countries only a small number of busi-nesses have a clear idea of what they should do with information technology in order to successfully implement CRM. Design/methodology/approach- To do so, the literature is critically reviewed and main findings are presented in different categories. Findings- The role of information technology in development of a fully integrated CRM system with-in any organization is presented in the present paper. Research Implications- In many countries there is still confusion as to what CRM is all about. To some it is about a loyalty scheme, to some it is about a help desk. To others it is about a relational data base for key account management and for others it is about mass profiling the customer base without undertaking detailed segmentation. Findings highlight the realities in the area of CRM appli-cation in emerging economies and criticises the existing trends. Originality/value- The present study is among the first studies that highlights the realities in the area of CRM application in emerging economies.
